Rock My Bowl is a boutique catering company with big dreams, big plans, and big love for our beautiful planet.

From ingredients and packaging through to delivery – here are some of the ways we are making more planet-friendly choices.

THOUGHTFUL PURCHASING

We buy from local and independent businesses wherever we can. Choosing from favourites like Jones of Brockley on our doorstep, for seasonal produce and unusual ingredients. And Papos Bagels in Hackney for our New York-style bagels. And we always buy in small batches to avoid waste.

ZERO-WASTE

Rock My Bowl aims to be a zero-waste kitchen. So, whether we’ve got leftover cauliflower leaves from a curry, a couple of heels of bread from our breakfast toasts, or a few spare herbs we’ll add sass and flavour to turn them into spiced crispy leaves, delicious baked croutons or homemade condiments, herb oils and dressings. 

Our zero-waste goodness bowls are our little heroes. Always made with love, and always a little bit different -  they perfectly combine all the extra little bits we have left in the kitchen with sass and flavour from our larder. 

PLANET-FRIENDLY PACKAGING

All our food is transported, delivered or served in planet-friendly packaging that can be fully recycled after use. We source everything from Decent Packaging or Biopak – companies with ethics that we believe in. And we recycle and reuse everything possible when we receive deliveries.

DELIVERING THE GOODS

We’re working towards a 5-mile radius delivery zone to keep our impact low, and we use a driver with a hybrid car to make sure our food arrives on time and in perfect condition.
